Introducing our intensive outpatient program for women

Journey to Wholeness

Six smiling women of different ages and backgrounds standing close together, embracing

Twelve weeks of healing for your spirit, soul and body, made for women who want to recover through a lens of faith.

Designed for her

Finally, a clinical healing space for women.

While Wholeness Mental Health lovingly and warmly serves everyone, our first intensive program has been designed exclusively for a special population: women who need healing and recovery, and desire to do so through a lens of faith.

Is this for you?

When holding it together has become its own burden.

Journey to Wholeness is for women ready to become whole after stress, burnout, and the impact of trauma. This program is for you if:

You are fatigued and can barely function at work and at home.

You need more than weekly or biweekly therapy.

You have so much to process and recover from, and you need a safe place, now, to do it.

Your health, your family and even your destiny are depending on it.

You know you need time off of work to dedicate to your recovery.

You can't afford to put your wellness on the back burner any longer.

The approach

Three parts. One you.

Your spirit, your mind and your nervous system shape one another. So every week speaks to all three, and your path through the program follows the needs that are present in you.

Along the way, you'll learn a holistic perspective of health, including how exercise and nutrition support your mind, your mood and your recovery.

What you'll explore

Four threads woven through every week.

Like physical therapy for the whole woman, someone walks beside you as you exercise new muscles, until movement returns.

Spirit

Identity restoration

Recovering who you are, and reconciling with the generations that came before you.

Soul

Mind renewal

Reshaping how you think, remember and perceive, grounded in truth and in brain science.

Body

Somatic intervention

Understanding your body as a system, how it speaks to you, and how to respond well.

Whole woman

Skills for real life

Practical coping and life skills, practiced in the room, that carry momentum into your week.

The shape of the journey

Four movements toward wholeness.

Over twelve weeks the group moves from understanding where you are, to seeing your patterns clearly, to healing what hurts, to walking forward with a plan.

How we heal

Backed by neuroscience. Enriched by therapeutic strategy.

This program offers biblical truth and an integration of effective clinical approaches, led by licensed therapists and our medical providers. Progress is measured at the start, middle and end, so you can see what's changing.

01

Biblical principles

Scripture as the foundation for identity, truth, forgiveness and renewal.

02

Neuroscience

Understanding how your brain and nervous system respond to stress and trauma, and how they can heal and rewire.

03

Cognitive behavioral therapy

Noticing thought patterns, reshaping them, and practicing new responses.

04

Motivational interviewing

Drawing out your own reasons for change, at your own pace.

05

Positive psychology

Building strengths, meaning and gratitude alongside healing wounds.

06

Attachment-based therapy

Understanding how early bonds shape the way you connect, and building more secure relationships.

07

Acceptance and commitment therapy

Making room for hard thoughts and feelings while you move toward what matters most.

08

Internal family systems

Getting to know the protective and wounded parts within you, and leading them with compassion.

09

Narrative therapy

Separating who you are from what happened to you, and rewriting the story you live by.

A group day

Three hours. One rhythm.

Three evenings a week, 4 to 7 pm Central Standard Time. Every gathering follows the same gentle shape, so your body and heart know what to expect.

1

Arrive & open up

Settle in, connect with the group, and let music and stretching help you arrive fully.

2

Learn & practice

Teaching on the week's theme, then hands-on practice so it moves from your head into your life.

3

Process together

Share, be heard and support one another, then leave with a practice to carry into your week.

Healing in community

You were never meant to heal alone.

Some wounds happen in relationship, and some of the deepest healing happens there too. In this Intensive Outpatient Program, you'll walk alongside other women who understand, because they're on the journey too.

Week after week, you'll share, listen and grow together. It's a chance to build meaningful, lasting relationships with women who will celebrate your progress and remind you how far you've come.

Questions

Before you begin.

Who can join?

Journey to Wholeness is designed exclusively for women who need healing and recovery and want to pursue it through a lens of faith. Wholeness Mental Health serves everyone, so if this program isn't the right fit, we'll help you find care that is.

What is an intensive outpatient program?

More support than a weekly therapy session, while you keep living at home and keep your daytime commitments. You meet with the group three evenings a week for twelve weeks.

Do I need to share your faith to join?

You don't have to share our faith to join. But if integrating Scripture and education on spiritual health would make you uncomfortable, this program likely isn't the right fit. We're happy to suggest other programs in Texas that are more faith-neutral.

Is it virtual or in person?

Journey to Wholeness is virtual only. Every group meets online, so you can join from the comfort of home.

What does it cost, and do you take insurance?

Cost varies by insurance plan. We suggest contacting your insurance carrier to ask about your benefits for an intensive outpatient program.
